Save the Bees (Bristol)

Come and create a beautiful painting of a flower and a Bee. This is a fantastic course for acrylic and is great for beginners and intermediate. You will work on an A2 canvas and will be shown how to create a wash for the background, tonal properties and how to apply acrylic paint to your canvas. I will go through a step by step method, demonstrating each new technique. All materials will be supplied apart from the acrylic paint. You can choose from a variety of bee and flower images or alternatively you are very welcome to bring your own.

This course is all about helping to save the bees. At the first lesson you will receive a wild seed packet, leaflets on how you can help and some stickers!  As part of helping to save the bees £5 of each place sold will go to Friends of the Earth charity.

This course needs a minimum of 6 people to go ahead.

Monday 3rd June: You will create a rough sketch of your flower and create a background wash. You will complete a rough sketch of the Bee and then start creating the background colour for your flower.
